A resurfaced clip from a 2024 interview featuring Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has sparked renewed conversation around celebrity feuds and social media drama.

In the clip, the actress suggested that fans and entertainment blogs are often the real drivers of celebrity conflicts online.

According to her, many public disagreements between stars are either exaggerated or completely fueled by online narratives created by followers and gossip platforms.

In her words, she said, "I am going to say this once and keep it moving. You know the major cause of most celebrity fights? I'm sure some of you know, or you might not really know. It is the fans and the blogs; they work hand-in-hand.

"A celebrity posts something that might not be directed to a particular celebrity, the fans will go to the other celebrity that they feel the post is for and be like, ah Mama, have you seen what Lagbaja posted? Have you seen what Amaeu posted? She's talking to you, she's referring to you, and boom, bloggers will pick it up and create their own narrative."

She also revealed that she has had her own fair share of the trend, noting that blogs and fans have, over time, caused her to lock horns with colleagues in the industry.
