Nigerian singer, Eniola Akinbo also known as Niyola is eyeing a comeback to music after a two-year hiatus.

Taking to Twitter, she announced her return with a picture of herself in a studio. She tweeted, "A day well spent."

Her fans thronged around the tweet seeking answers as to when she would finally return.

The singer was previously associated with Empire Mates Entertainment record label, owned by Banky W. In 2017 after Shaydee, ex-label mate announced his decision to leave the label, she took to the microblogging platform to say no real label existed in Nigeria.

While her journey with EME records is very sketchy till date, she got a lot of exposure with the label releasing "Toh Bad, Last Bus stop, Love to Love You with Banky W" as well as a host of other songs.

She officially took a break from music in 2017 after losing her friend and Mum in the process.

Speaking at an interview session, the attractive singer said:

"I was in that phase where I just felt like I don't think I am really portraying what I wanted to portray as an artist. If you went to listen to my songs, will you catch the slightest glimpse of who I am as Niyola? that has always bothered me.''

I was always recording and some songs were released, but I didn't have control over a lot of things that were put out there and I was also trying to figure out who I was."

Niyola has been associated with big names in the industry like Sasha P, Sound Sultan, Paul Play, Lynxxx.
