Nigerian mum of two dies after sustaining injury at Asake’s London concert

Following a stampede that occurred at a concert organized by singer, Asake in Brixton 02 Academy on Thursday, December 15, a lady has reportedly died.

According to reports, the 33-year-old mother of two died on Saturday morning, December 17, after sustaining injuries from the incident.

Late Ikumelo was known for being popular on TikTok. She was noted for sharing videos of her journey in taking care of her autistic son.

Singer, Asake has since taken to social media to send his condolences and mourn with the family of the lady died as a result of the stampede that took place at his event.

He wrote; “I am devastated by the news that Rebecca Ikumelo, who was in a critical condition since Thursday, has sadly passed away. My sincerest condolences to her loved ones at this time. Let us please keep her family in our prayers. I have spoken to them and will continue to do so.

I am overwhelmed with grief and could never have imagined anything like this happening.”
