Nigerian man Oke who died during EndSARS protest finally laid to rest
Okechukwu Nathaniel has been laid to rest
A Nigerian man identified as Okechukwu Nathaniel who lost his life as a result of the hijacked EndSARS protest has finally been buried.
The disclosure was made by the deceased's girlfriend identified as Derin, who took to her social media page to share photos and a video of when the 21-year-old was committed to mother earth.
Making the disclosure on her Twitter page, Derin wrote:
"Laid my baby to rest. Rest in peace Oke."She also took to her Instagram page to express how she felt on the day the young man was buried. Derin said she kept waiting for him to come back to life.
Reflecting on her relationship with Oke, Derin wrote:
"Oke and I weren’t just lovers. We were friends. Good friends. Best friends. Partners. We did everything together."We loved each other so much and never failed to express it everytime. We were our relationship goals. I’m glad he got to experience real love and I’m glad I got to experience him."
