A Nigerian man identified as POOJA on Twitter on Monday, November 23, shared how his favorite barber, Kevin, in Ojodu, Lagos state redecorated his shop and added a bookshelf.

The barber said he decided to get books to his shop because he wants his customers to busy themselves with books while their wait to be attended to.

Kevin who said that he loves books expressed the need to make his customers fall in love with books too.

On Tuesday, December 15, weeks after he shared the tweet, the man did a follow-up post as he said that many Nigerians have since expressed willingness to help Kevin with books.

Someone donated five copies of a title, a package he sent to the man all the way from Germany.

Below are some of the reactions the post got:

@azeezokeyale said: "In this Ojodu? Where exactly please? I'm changing my barber!"

@kachi_kingsley said: "Very brilliant of him but we as Nigerians still prefer TV Biko."

@olusegunfadipe2: "Correct...This will surely set him apart from his competitors. Knowledge is life."

@jhayblues said: "I have some books in store ... Might get some across once I'm around."
