Nigeria's coronavirus cases have risen to a total of 214 after the Nigeria Center for Disease Control confirmed 5 fresh cases on Saturday night.

This is coming while Abuja, Ogun and Lagos States are observing the two-weeks curfew initiated by the Federal Government to curb the spread of the virus.

The NCDC made the announcement on its official twitter handle with Lagos having the highest recorded cases in the country.

The statement reads:

"Five new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 3 in Bauchi and 2 in the FCT.

"As at 10:10 pm 4th April, there are 214 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Twenty-five have been discharged with two deaths

The breakdown of cases by states:

Oyo- 9
Akwa Ibom- 5
Ogun- 4
Edo- 7
Kaduna- 4
Bauchi- 6
Enugu- 2
