Popular Nigerian actor, Kumle Remi, has stirred reactions online after describing Nigeria as the least impressive African country visited by American streamer IShowSpeed so far.
Note that the streamer recently visited Nigeria as part of his ongoing tour across Africa.
Reacting to the visit, Remi compared IShowSpeed's experience in Lagos with his experience in other African countries and expressed disappointment.
He wrote, "IshowSpeed's journey so far, Nigeria is the worst on my list"
The actor lamented what he described as the decline of Lagos’ cultural identity, warning that nightlife, counterfeit drinks, and widespread begging are overshadowing the state’s rich heritage.
Sharing his thoughts via his Instagram story, Kunle Remi wrote:
“After watching IShowSpeed’s journey so far, Nigeria is the worst on my own list. We have completely stripped Lagos bare. Not that there was much underneath to begin with anyway.
“It seems we’ve lost the true essence of our culture — our originality. All that’s left now is fake drinks, clubs, and begging skills.”
