'Never sell your conscious, reject vote buying' - Pastor David Ibiyeomie urges Nigerians

A viral video has captured Pastor David Ibiyeomie encouraging Nigerians to remain principled and avoid selling their conscience for money during elections.

Speaking to a large congregation, the founder of Salvation Ministries advised citizens not to vote based on party loyalty alone but to support leaders with the capacity and vision to deliver positive results.

The cleric also called for unity among Nigerians, stressing that collective action is the strongest tool against oppression and poor governance.

Drawing from biblical teachings, he urged citizens to wake up to their responsibilities and work towards a better nation.

His message comes at a time of growing economic hardship and political dissatisfaction across the country.

The sermon has generated mixed reactions on social media. While many praised his call for integrity and rejected practices such as exchanging votes for cash or food items, others questioned the involvement of religious leaders in political discussions.
