'Never been this afraid of Nigeria' - AY’s wife, Mabel Makun cries out

Mabel Makun, the beautiful wife of comedian Ayodeji Makun better known as AY has voiced her displeasure with the state of affairs in the country.

The mother of two lamented how the exchange rate in the country was killing businesses. Mabel stated that because business is currently so slow, she is tired of seeing price rises.

She talked about how the average person can no longer buy a loaf of bread and how parents are removing their kids from school to receive tutoring at home.

Mabel lamented that everything was now opulent and that even basics had become indulgences.

She wrote: “Never been this afraid for my country, Nigeria. Exchange rate is killing businesses. We are tired of increasing prices! Business is now draining! An average common man can no longer afford a loaf of bread. Parents withdrawing their kids from schools for home tutors. Basic needs are now luxury! Everything is high. affordability has suddenly become Fiction! What is the way out?”.
