Amid the escalating marital crisis between Senator Ned Nwoko and his estranged wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, a new statement has emerged addressing the state of their relationship and the allegations currently circulating online.

The statement, attributed to the senator’s camp, firmly denies claims that Nwoko has been in communication with Regina or is seeking her return to the matrimonial home.

According to the document, the senator has no intention of reconciling at this time and is instead insisting that Regina receive professional therapy.

“She is under the influence of hard drugs” — Statement alleges

The statement goes further to allege that Regina Daniels is “completely under the influence of hard drugs,” asserting that her recent public claims, including allegations involving drugs and sex, are “lies from the pit of hell” and “cannot be substantiated.”

It references what it calls the last verified communication between the couple: a WhatsApp message reportedly sent by Nwoko on October 17, expressing frustration and issuing an ultimatum for Regina to return to rehabilitation or risk losing financial support.

According to the statement, this message triggered Regina to “go violent and berserk,” allegedly destroying cars and other property.

Nwoko recounts alleged decline in Regina’s behaviour

The senator reportedly highlighted a pattern of disturbing behaviour over the past eight months, claiming Regina became increasingly dirty, unkempt, and dishonest, requiring him to remind her to shower and sleep in her own room.

The statement also suggests that Regina’s closeness with actress Phyna worsened the situation, noting that Nwoko only tolerated their friendship in hopes of managing Regina’s state of mind.

One of the most shocking claims in the document states that Nwoko once woke up at 5 a.m. and unexpectedly found Regina hiding in his bathroom.

He alleges that she secretly filmed him in that vulnerable state and posted the footage online, a moment he described as proof of how “irrational" her behaviour had become.

Call for rehab as the crisis deepens

The statement concludes with an appeal to those close to Regina: if they truly care about her and the children, they should help her get into a respected rehabilitation centre, insisting that “all this nonsense will stop” once she receives proper treatment.
