Nigerian businessman and lawmaker, Senator Ned Nwoko, has returned to social media amid the controversy surrounding fresh allegations about his marriage to actress Regina Daniels.
Recall that Regina recently accused the senator of orchestrating the arrest of her siblings, sparking widespread reactions online.
However, rather than addressing the allegations directly, Nwoko appeared unbothered as he took to his X page to share updates about his latest community development project, a mini-stadium in Issele-Uku, Delta State.
According to him, the initiative was designed to inspire youth, promote healthy competition, and strengthen community bonds.
He wrote: “For me, every project is about impact — giving our people access to facilities that uplift, empower, and unite. With this stadium, we are nurturing the next generation of athletes and leaders who will make Delta North proud. Our journey of transformation continues, one community at a time.”
The senator revealed that the newly built mini-stadium includes a standard football pitch, a seven-a-side multi-sports arena, modern pavilions on both sides, and well-equipped dressing rooms, aimed at promoting sports and recreation in the region.
This development comes shortly after Rita Daniels, Regina’s mother, publicly criticized Nwoko for allegedly tarnishing their family’s reputation despite their past support for him.
Rita claimed that her daughter contributed $50,000 (₦71 million) and other resources toward Nwoko’s political campaign, accusing him of turning his back on them after achieving success.
Nwoko, however, has maintained his focus on showcasing his community projects, leaving his family’s ongoing drama unaddressed.
