Veteran entertainer and activist Charly Boy has voiced his concerns about the ongoing sexual harassment allegations levelled against Senate President Godswill Akpabio, by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
On Tuesday, March 11, 2025, Senator Natasha reported her suspension from the Senate to the Inter-Parliamentary Union of the United Nations in New York.
Sharing his thoughts on the development, Charly Boy lamented the state of Nigeria’s leadership as he criticised the political class and those in power.
The entertainer known for his vocal nature on matters affecting the country, described the men of the National Assembly as randy dogs, deplorables and undistinguished.
Charly Boy wrote, "From the Presidency, the Supreme Court justices, the Law enforcement agencies to the house of rep members and Horny Senators, my people, Nigeria don scarter scarter. Reminds me of my song ‘1990’.
“The National Assembly has the highest numbers of anyhow men without value or shame if u like, very randy dogs, deplorable and undistinguished. We can all see what's playing out with the Senate Presidents sex scandal, an act that has followed him around as a politician. Now, we are witnessing how victims are punished and the guilty flexing all over the place.
Nonsense. My people, globally na for Nigeria wey real criminals are in power. Congregation of crooks, drug peddlers and sex predators are in charge of Nigeria. Dia fathers.”
The feud between the Kogi lawmaker and Senator Akpabio worsened after the Senate suspended her on allegations of "unparliamentary conduct." It is believed that this move was politically motivated and linked to her accusations against Senate President Akpabio.
Natasha was suspended after she accused Akpabio of targeting her because she refused his sexual advances.
Despite filing a formal petition to the Senate to investigate her accusations, the Senate swiftly took disciplinary action against her by suspending her for six months, causing anger as many suspect cover up.
However, Natasha who seemed not to be backing down, reported the issue to the United Nations.
Reacting to her move, Nollywood actor Emeka Nwagbaraoch applauded her. On his social media page, he wrote, "Natasha has refused to remove her hand from his neck! Very Whaat??? Very Good!!!" Plus iron plus teeth No breathing space."
