Following the burial of fast-rising artiste Mohbad, who purportedly passed away on Tuesday, September 12, from an ear infection, Nigerian musician Naira Marley has drawn attention from online users.

This comes after a video of the late artiste sobbing and demanding that Marlian Music, owned by Naira Marley, be held accountable for his death appeared on X
(formerly Twitter).

Mohbad who died at the age of 27, was heard saying in the video: “Because of this issue now you are trying to kill me. Everybody in the whole world please help me. If I die, na Marlian Music Naira Marley kill me."

This publication recalls that last year, 2022, Naira Marley and Mohbad had a dispute over royalties and a management change that allegedly led to the former ordering the latter's assault.

However, Mohbad formally ended his relationship with Marlian Music in October 2022.

The musician passed away on Tuesday and was buried on Wednesday in accordance with Islamic customs, but internet discussions regarding their relationship prior to his passing are currently trending.

A short check reveals that more than 100,000 people are in conversation, with many of them requesting information regarding the singer's passing.
