'Na Davido next' - Netizens dig out video of the singer spraying naira notes amid EFCC’s hunt

An old video of afrobeats singer Davido spraying money at a club has drawn the attention of Nigerians amid the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission's (EFCC) mission of hunting down celebrities who abuse the naira notes.

Recall that the anti-graft agency said that a lot of celebrities would be the subject of investigations and would soon be charged with abusing the naira notes.

This happened following the apprehension of popular crossdresser, Bobrisky who was sentenced to six months in prison without a fine option after he was found guilty on four charges against him.

The video of Davido having fun with friends in an undisclosed club and tossing money into the air has re-emerged on social media.

Davido's friend, Cubana Chief Priest was charged with three charges of misusing naira in an earlier report published by the EFCC. He was granted a bail of N10 million.
