Reality TV star, Hazel Oyeze Onou, popularly known as Whitemoney has raised concerns about an alleged illegal practice in the Nigerian banking system he experienced.
Taking to his social media page to lament, he noted that despite the scarcity of the news naira notes, some individuals have began selling the new notes at a price.
According to the Big Brother Season 6 winner, Whitemoney noted that during a wedding party he attended recently, he was stunned when he saw the new naira notes being sold by some money changers for party sprayers.
He said an amount of N700,000 is sold for N1 million and making a profit of N300,000 on each sale.
The singer questioned how money changers got the money that was said to be unavailable.
