Singer and choreographer Mr P has revealed how he returned to the formula that brought success to the defunct P-Square to create his trending and hit single, ‘I Can’t Look Away.’

The artist, whose latest release has continued to generate conversations among fans, said he retraced his steps to the P-Square era by reuniting with some of the key creatives behind the group’s success.

Speaking during a radio interview with Steve Onu aka Yaw, Mr P disclosed that he brought back members of the team that worked on several P-Square hits.

“I had to bring back everybody that worked with us as P’Square, like Foster Zeeno, who was the brains behind many of our hits as P’Square,” he said.

The singer explained that the decision was part of efforts to deliver a quality project capable of resonating with fans across different markets.

Mr P also revealed that he recently signed a five-year deal with an international company, which includes the release of three albums.

“These people have invested so much in me, so I need to deliver,” he said.

The trending hit single has caught the attention of music star, Davido, who referred to the song as a fire banger on X.

‘I Can’t Look Away’ has enjoyed growing popularity since its release, with many fans hailing it as a return to the sound that made P-Square one of Africa’s most successful music groups.
