Nigerian comic skit maker, actor and activist Debo Adedayo, popularly known by his stage name Mr Macaroni, has slammed Nigerian police for allegedly dehumanizing, oppressing and brutalizing citizens.

Mr Macaroni took to his Twitter page on Thursday, June 16, 2022, to share a video of Nigerian police officers in a scuffle with a young man.

Apparently, the police officers attempted to arrest the young man but he resisted the arrest which led to the police officer assaulting him.

Reacting to the video, the skit maker said that Nigerian police are best at dehumanizing, oppressing and brutalizing citizens to which he is a witness to.

"Nigerian Police! Best in Dehumanizing, oppressing and brutalizing citizens.
I’m a witness! SHAME!!!!!!!!!!" he tweeted.

The activist who has used his platform on several occasions to call out such happenings in the country has had a fair share of police brutality.

Mr Macaroni was arrested by personnel of the Nigerian Police Force at the #OccupyLekkitollgate protest in Lagos.

He was among the 40 protesters including passers-by who were arrested for defying the Lagos State directive against the protest.
