Popular comedian and social media influencer Freedom Okpetoritse Atsepoyi, also known as Mr. Jollof, has filed a lawsuit against social media activist Martins Vincent Otse following a series of allegations he made against Mr. Jollof's wife.
The social media activist openly questioned Mr. Jollof's suitability for the role of Senior Special Adviser to the Governor, even suggesting that his wife might have "slept her way" into the job. This accusation generated a lot of controversy on social media.
Mr. Jollof responded by giving VeryDarkMan 30 days to show up in court to support his allegations. The comedian also posted the writ of summons, which contained four pages of VeryDarkMan's accusations on social media.
In their satirical response to the case, VeryDarkMan called Mr. Jollof "mumu."
Social media users have expressed differing views on the ongoing judicial struggle, dividing the public.
