Afrobeats star Davido has reacted to the ongoing political crisis between the All Progressives Congress (APC) governors and Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), led by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, had rejected Wike's Rainbow Coalition, a cross-party political movement backing President Bola Tinubu's 2027 re-election bid.

Rejecting the coalition, Uzodimma said APC governors would not support cross-party alliances.

Reacting to the unfolding dispute, Davido, who recently visited Wike in Abuja following the Osun governorship election, suggested the situation would be entertaining to watch.

Sharing a video of Wike and Uzodimma's interviews on his Instagram story, the singer captioned it simply, "Movie loading," accompanied by a popcorn emoji to underline his excitement.

Wike, an official member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), currently serves as FCT minister under the ruling APC administration despite his party affiliation.

Tinubu had rewarded him with the ministerial appointment for openly supporting his 2023 presidential bid against his own party's candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
