Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Moses Bliss, has shared his disappointment after visa complications prevented him from performing at a massive worship concert in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The Too Faithful crooner, who had earlier ministered in Kenya, was scheduled to fly into Tanzania on October 2 for the free event, which reportedly attracted more than 60,000 worshippers. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

Visa Issues at Dar es Salaam Airport
In a video posted on Instagram, Bliss explained that his team had been assured visas would be provided but were later told to obtain them on arrival. However, immigration officials denied them entry upon arrival at midnight, despite the assurances.

“Hello my family in Tanzania. I’m here in Tanzania right now, I’m not just allowed to come. It’s very unfortunate that I couldn’t make it to worship with us today. I heard there were about 60,000 of you who came out. I’m sorry, I did my best,” he said.

The gospel minister recounted how his team spent over six hours at the airport trying to resolve the issue, even seeking presidential intervention, but all efforts failed.

Painful Loss, Apology, and Promise
Bliss described the ordeal as heartbreaking, citing the huge resources and planning invested in making the concert a free worship experience for thousands of attendees.

“We’ve spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to make this event absolutely free for you to just come and worship the Lord Jesus with us,” he lamented.

Despite the setback, he expressed gratitude to Tanzanian fans for their massive turnout, assuring them that he would return.

“Tanzania, please hear me, you were not at fault. You came out in numbers, ready for God, and that moves me deeply. I owe you not just an apology, but a promise, by God’s grace, I will return,” he added.

Following the incident, Bliss and his team returned to Nairobi, Kenya, where they confirmed plans to regroup and schedule another visit to Tanzania.
