'Mohbad was killed because he was a traitor' – Portable

Contentious Nigerian street singer Portable has revealed that rivals of Malian Records are responsible for the death of the late Ilerioluwa Aloba who was also known as Mohbad.

The street singer connected disloyalty to Mohbad's demise.

Portable stated that Mohbad who was provided care and assistance by Marlian Music, turned his back on them and tarnished the record's hard earned image.

The Zazuu crooner said that Mohbad's resignation was caused by the label's alleged lack of love for him.

Portable added that Mohbad's sudden death was allegedly caused by his relationship with these competitors. He asserted that the murderers of Mohbad planned to blame Naira Marley.

Speaking via Instagram, he said: “Mohbad was killed because he was a betrayer. We help these young artists and make them blow but they repay us with evil. After everything Marlian music did for Mohbad, he later said they didn’t love him. He left the label and went to associate with the enemies of Naira Marley.

“Those ones then killed him to implicate Naira. God will save Naira from this mess because he only helped Mohbad out of a good heart but he betrayed him.”
