Mohbad: Primeboy not re-arrested – Police refutes claims

The Lagos State Police Command has refuted a story claiming that Ibrahim Owodunni, also known as Primeboy, was re-arrested over the death of his colleague and friend Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad.

Reports suggested that Primeboy was retaken into custody on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, while visiting the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Panti, Yaba.

According to the DAILY POST, Primeboy, who was first detained in the wake of the uproar surrounding Mohbad's death a few months ago, has been going to the SCID once a week since the investigation began.

From a report that went viral on Tuesday, March 12, Primeboy was re-arrested and detained by the Lagos police command during his Tuesday visit.

However, when reached on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the public relations officer for the Lagos State Police, denied the report's accuracy.

According to the PRO, Primeboy was permitted to return home on Tuesday and report back on Wednesday.
