Mo Abudu named amongst powerful women in the world in 2022

International magazine Forbes recently released its World’s 100 Most Powerful Women with EbonyLife CEO, Mo Abudu, taking the 99th spot.

Abudu, 58, founder of EbonyLife Group, was named among other 100 very influential and powerful women in the world by the financial magazine.

According to Forbes, she was recognised for her outstanding contribution to the media and entertainment sectors.

Her partnership deals with Sony Pictures Television, AMC Networks, and Netflix were some of the reasons she made the list.

The deal with Netflix marked the first time an African media company signed a multi-title film and TV agreement with the streaming giant.

Mo Abudu’s was named 99th most powerful woman months after she was appointed as an Executive member of the prestigious business school, Harvard Business School, Massachusetts, Boston, USA.

Abudu via her Instgram handle shared the good news with her fans and well wishers.

She had expressed appreciation for the honor and privilege for such an appointment from the prestigious business school.

The film maker further disclosed that she will be producing a unique and exciting project, in collaboration with HBS faculty, adding that her primary focus will be in research, with some instruction for MBA students.
