Surgeons in operating theatre

Doctors conducting surgery on a patient in the operating room have caused a stir on social media after a video of them vibing to Shallipopi’s song surfaced.

In a video making the rounds, the surgeons could be seen singing and dancing as Shallipopi’s “Obapluto” song was played in the background.

The video has since generated mixed reactions from social media users as they share varied views. Some people chastised the doctors for being unprofessional, labelling them as “Gen Z doctors”.

Others saw nothing wrong with the act stating that it was normal for surgeons to play music while operating, adding that it was the choice of song that had a problem but if the song works for the doctors, then there’s no need to chastise them.

Fast-rising Afrobeats singer Crown Uzama better known as Shallipopi released Obapluto in 2023. The song is one of the hit records off the singer's most-anticipated studio album tagged, Planet Pluto, standing as track number one.
