Chidimma Adetshina, a former finalist in Miss South Africa, has entered the Miss Universe Nigeria contest and is requesting public support due to problems with her South African citizenship.
Recall that Chidimma who placed as the 25th competitor is representing Taraba State in the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant.
Chidimma asked for public votes in a video posted on the Miss Universe Nigeria social media page to advance to the Top 10.
As a previous Miss SA finalist, she talked about how she overcame adversity and stated that she wanted to use the Miss Universe Nigeria platform to spread inclusivity and acceptance.
She said, “I also want to educate people on the power of diversity to build a stronger community that benefits everyone."
Many were touched by her sense of wisdom and sent her goodwill messages praying that she excelled in the pageant.
