Mercy Aigbe reacts to photo of Obasanjo kneeling before 37-year-old Olu of Warri

A photo of former head of state, Olusegun Obasanjo kneeling before the newly crowned Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, reactions have since been pouring in.

Among them is Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe who applauded the 84-years-old former president for his show of respect to the 37-years-old Ogiame Atuwatse III.

Sharing the photo on her Instagram page Mercy wrote, “When I saw this picture, one thing came to my mind, Tradition! Nothings beats our Tradition. Long live the King @oluofwarri”.

Utieyinoritsetsola Emiko was on Saturday, August 21, 2021, crowned the 21st Olu of Warri and among other dignitaries present at the coronation was Olusegun Obasanjo.

To pay homage to the crowned Olu of Warri, Obasanjo knelt and bowed before the monarch.
