Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has said his administration will support the music concerts scheduled to hold in the state as organized by rapper Phyno and also singer Kcee.

Mbah made this known after a meeting with Phyno who was born and raised on the soil of Enugu.

"We had a fruitful discussion about his upcoming music concert, Phyno Fest, in Enugu later in November this year," he ssid on X.

"As a government, we are dedicated to supporting and promoting talents that celebrate our culture and position Enugu State on the global stage. In line with this commitment, we will fully support Phyno to ensure the success of this much-anticipated event."

Mbah also received Kcee whom he described as "a talented artiste who has made remarkable impact, from promoting our rich culture to delivering premium entertainment that resonates far and wide."

He said Kcee informed him of his upcoming concert and charity programme, scheduled to hold on Easter Sunday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.

"Our administration remains steadfast in our commitment to supporting initiatives that nurture talent and uplift our communities. We are proud to support Kcee in ensuring the success of his event," he said.

In a response via X, Kcee thanked the governor for redefining governance in Nigeria and Enugu State in particular.

He added, "On the 20th of April 2025, Easter Sunday we go in heavy at the Nnamdi Azikiwe township stadium in Enugu. #Fivestarmusicfestival 2025 live in Enugu."
