Actress Etinosa Idemudia has shared her views on marriage, motherhood, and personal achievement.
In an Instagram post, the actress said she’d advise her daughter that getting married and having children should not automatically be seen as life’s biggest accomplishments.
She explained that both are personal choices, not measures of a person’s success or worth.
According to her, while marriage and parenthood are beautiful experiences for those who choose them, they should not be used as the yardstick to judge how far someone has come in life.
Etinosa noted that people should be allowed to define achievement on their own terms, rather than in terms of marriage and children.
“Marriage and having children are not an achievement,” she said.
