Nigerian singer Gabriel Oche Amanyi, better known as Terry G has opined that marriage is not the best option for artists.

According to the singer, fans of the other sex would not feel at ease with a married singer.

Speaking as a guest on the most recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, Terry G referred to fans of the opposite sex as the "juice of the music industry," emphasizing that the business would be dull without them.

He said: “I don’t think marriage is for people like us [musicians]. If I get married, it would restrict me from my female fans.

“Females are the base of the music, they are the juice of the music industry. Remove them and you will be bored.

“If a music artist announced his marriage publicly, it would affect his female fanbase. Once you are married, you are out of the box. In Nigeria, they say once you are married, you are out of the market. So automatically you are no longer hot.”

Terry in the same interview, acknowledged that he is involved in extramarital affairs.

He said that he still cheats even though he has a baby mama whom he loves and respects just as much as his wife. He continued, generalizing that all men are liars and cheats.

Terry G had in a previous interview revealed shocking information about his kind of music.

He disclosed that the devil was the object of his singing while justifying his comments.

According to him, most afrobeats singers honor the devil when they perform secular music.
