Man claims lady was asked by her prospective in-laws to wipe her makeup

A Nigerian man has taken to Twitter to share a story of a woman who was asked by her prospective in-laws to wipe her makeup when her boyfriend took her to meet them for the first time.

The man with the Twitter handle @RealDonaldDoo said the lady, however, refused to wipe her makeup as instructed by her prospective in-laws

@RealDonaldDoo wrote: "This guy carried his girlfriend to meet his family in Ibadan, his mother and sisters asked the girlfriend to wash her makeup so they can see her, she wasn't cool with that, they offered her wipes or something she refused too."

Nigerians took to the comment section of the post to share their thoughts

Twitter user with the handle @ivadeh said the lady should have wiped her makeup, adding that it might be a test.

Another Twitter user with the handle @smile_poc wrote: "Lol!! What I like about this story is “ mother and sisters”. Later they will say patriarchy. Women continue to be their own enemies. Those sisters will also want a peaceful home tomorrow. Same goes for all the awon feminists."
