Man City vs Inter: Why I wanted Inter to win Champions League final – Burna Boy

Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy has revealed why he didn't want Manchester City to win the UEFA Champions League final against Inter Milan.

He made the comment in an interview with Paramount+ shortly after City defeated Inter to clinch their first-ever Champions League trophy in Istanbul, Turkey, on Saturday night.

Burna Boy, a Grammy Award winner said he didn't want City to win because of his support for rival, Manchester United.

He also made history as the first African artiste to perform at the Champions League final.

He said he didn’t want City to win because he is a fan of their rival, Manchester United.

He said, “This was most amazing thing, even though I honestly didn’t want City to win for sentimental reasons, it’s okay.

“It is amazing performing at the UCL final.”
