A new video of Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, has ignited heated discussions online after he was seen singing and dancing inside a Celestial Church of Christ parish.

The National President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), who is widely known for his strong Islamic faith, was captured participating enthusiastically in Christian worship during an event at the Celestial Church of Christ, Ojodu Central Model Parish in Lagos.

The unexpected display of religious openness has drawn mixed reactions. Some Nigerians praised him for embracing unity and participating freely, while others questioned the move, citing his long-publicised devout Muslim background and his political alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

This isn’t the first time MC Oluomo’s religious expressions have dominated conversations.

During the 2023 election season, he went viral for videos showing him deeply engaged in pilgrimage rites in Mecca, holding tightly to the Kaaba and praying passionately.
