Lobito and Adekaz: Reactions as socialite mysteriously dies the same day he buried his best friend of 45-years

Emotional reactions have trailed a viral news report of the death of a Lagos-based socialite who passed away the same day he had buried his best friend.

According to the reports, the recently deceased man who is simply identified as Adebayo Kassim who was known as Adekass played a key role in the coordination of the burial ceremony of his childhood friend, Harrison Dotun Olaribigbe, who was popularly known as Lobito Disco.

A presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dele Momodu in an Instagram post on Thursday, July 28 made the news of their demise public. He said: "Both Gone too soon. Lobito & Adekaz two jolly good friends. Lobito was buried today and his friend Adekaz joined him same today..."

The day of Olaribigbe burial and Kassim's death couldn't be confirmed at the time of filing this report.

Interestingly, a quote on page 23 from Adekass' tribute to his friend at the funeral reads: "...Good night my general, we been friends for about 45years not one day we don't talk, I will greatly miss you, wait for me at the gate of heaven see you on the other side your friend and brother forever".

Both men were known socialites in Lagos. Adekass is also a good friend of the Speaker House of Representatives Hon Femi Gbajabiamila.
