Boluwatife 'Bolu' Balogun, the 14-year-old eldest son of Nigerian Afrobeats star Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has ignited reactions among the FCs (Wizkid's fanbase) and social media users.
The 14-year-old shared a rap snippet on social media, rapping about his drive for success, promising his mother Shola Ogudugu a Lamborghini, and adopting the motto 'Get rich or die trying.'
However, beyond the rap video itself, what truly grabbed people’s attention was its caption.
In the Nigerian music scene, Wizkid is famously regarded as the “Lion of the Industry.”
Despite being known by several other titles such as Big Wiz, GOAT, Biggest Bird, and Machala, the “Lion” tag remains the most symbolic of his dominance and influence.
Sharing the video, Boluwatife proudly captioned it: “Lion no dey born goat.”
The clip, originating from an Instagram story linked to Bolu, quickly gained traction on X with massive engagements from tweeps.
While fans praised Bolu's flow and drew comparisons to his father's legacy, some users raised nepotism concerns and referenced Wizkid's past comments dismissing rap.
