Days after news about the tragic death of well-known gospel singer Aduke Gold broke, a video of her has appeared online.

The video was posted on Instagram a few hours ago by popular musician and media personality Yinka Ayefele. Aduke Gold was shown holding her IV bag while wearing a hospital gown and headgear.

A few people voiced their concerns after they saw the cheerful woman make her way to the operating room.

Captioning the video, Yinka Ayefele wrote, “Vanity upon Vanity”

Aduke Gold’s death was announced on Tuesday, August 13.

The announcement of her passing was made on Tuesday by fellow gospel artist Esther Igbeke on social media. She shared a tribute featuring a picture of Aduke Gold with the words: “A general has fallen. RIP.”

At first, the cause of her death was unknown, however; it is now known that she passed away as a result of complications following fibroid removal surgery.

Journalist and radio host Yemi Sonde revealed what happened during the procedure that led to Aduke Gold's premature death.
