Late Chadwick Boseman mourned by musician Black Coffee

Black Coffee has joined the thousands of people who have paid tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman.

The talented South African musician revealed that Boseman enjoyed listening to some of his music.

Social media users were impressed that our local talent was enjoyed by the legendary Black Panther actor.

The tragic passing of Chadwick Boseman has left the world reeling. Since his death was announced on social media, tributes have poured in from all over the globe.

South African musician, Black Coffee, also took to social media to pay his respects. He also added how honoured he was by the fact that Boseman enjoyed his music.

Black Coffee took to Twitter to post a short video clip showing Chadwick counting the number of artists he listened to when he was focused on work.

He excitedly mentioned Black Coffee's Get It Together song with international superstar, Drake.

The humble Black Coffee captioned his post:

"Grateful to have been a little part of the King's life #ripchadwickboseman"

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman's passing led to some of his Mzansi peers taking to social media to pay their tributes to the legendary Boseman.

Dr John Kani played the role of Chadwick's father King T’Chaka in the Black Panther movie. He took to social media to pay his respects, describing Chadwick as an "incredible young man".

“Meeting Chadwick, he immediately walked over and said hello baba. He said I worked in Cape Town a couple of years ago and they gave me a Xhosa name Mxolisi and thus been because my oldest son is Mxolisi, we began a father-son relationship.

"People say there was an uncanny resemblance between me and him. I got a call very early about 2am this morning, Chadwick just passed away and you think why am I getting this news, he was an incredible young man."
