Laide Bakare refutes rumours of third marriage

Prominent Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has denied reports that she is getting married for a third time.

It was alleged that the actress tied the knot for the third time after posting a cute video of herself and an unidentified man online.

In response to the widespread rumours in a video posted on her Instagram page on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, Bakare explained that the man in the viral footage was her onscreen partner.

The mother of three also asked people not to refer to the man as her spouse.

She said; “Stop it, you guys. I have made it clear before that my clip with my colleague was from a movie set. We portrayed lovers in multiple films consecutively. He’s not my husband, it is all acting.”

Recall that in 2008, the actress had a daughter named Simi with her former husband, Olumide Kunfulire.

In addition, she married Lagos socialite Tunde Oriowo a second time in 2013 and they were blessed with two boys.
