'Lagos, we are coming!' - Protest gathers momentum as #justiceforMohbad hits Delta

The death of singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad has generated a storm since the sad incident occurred on Tuesday, September 12.

The former signee of Marlian Records owned by Azeez Faashola, popularly known as Naira Marley died at the age of 27.

Fingers have been pointed to Naira Marley and socialite Sam Larry as videos revealed that the late Mohbad lived in fear since he joined the label.

However, while mourning the late singer, Naira Marley described him as “more than an artiste or signee but brother and dear friend” to him.

While the police have inaugurated a 13-man special investigation team to probe the mysterious death of the singer, a protest has begun in Delta State.

Tunde Ednut in a post on his Instagram page said the "protest kicked off in Effurun roundabout, Delta State" adding "Youths in Delta came out in numbers chanting “say no to Marlian music”.
