A video has made the rounds on social media of a lady calling out Nollywood movie producer, Ikenna Best Irikannu.

A young lady identified as Pretty took to social media to call out the producer over his reality show called Yes You Can. According to her, the producer was nothing but a scammer.

The lady explained that in 2018, Best organised the reality show and he asked contestants to pay some money which he explained would be used to pay bloggers to post about them.

Pretty said that she paid N200,000 while some others paid as much as N350k and more.

Pretty said the producer had told them that the show would air on DSTV and that it would be big like BBNaija which encouraged them to pay.

The lady said that when the show was to kick off on September 10, that was when the producer sent them a message that it would no longer air on DSTV like was earlier discussed.

After complaints from the contestants, Best reportedly said that the show would air on Star Times only for the first month and promised it would air on DSTV later. Pretty said that they proceeded to the camp and complained about the living conditions. She claimed that they slept on plyboard for five days.

The lady complained that there was no food or water on the show and that the contestants were starving.

The lady likened the camp to being kidnapped and they collected ransom. According to her, she begged them to evict her and even wrote a lot of letters but no change. She said that they were deceived by the producer.

Not done with the can of worms, the lady added that the producer went a step further by looking at the contestants that seemed to have well-to-do parents and contacted them, telling them to do well for their children on the show.

Pretty said that he called her own mum and telling her to keep voting. She said that the least amount her mother spent on voting each week was N500,000.

She continued that her mum spent nothing less than N12 million on the show that ended up not giving her any platform. The lady said that the first price was supposed to be N15m, a Lexus car and two years movie deal while the first runner up was to get N500,000 and a two year movie deal.

Pretty complained about the huge gap in the prizes. According to her, the producer placed a winner in the house because he knew he did not have the money to pay.

She also said that she emerged as the first runner up and was given the N500k but never heard anything about the movie deal till date.

The lady said N500k was a peanut compared to the millions her mother spent on the show and that he had made sure to pressure her mother with calls to keep voting and telling her that her child was almost there.
