Kim Oprah expresses disappointment over AMVCA rejection

Nigerian media personality, who is known as a Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality star and a television host was not nominated for the 10th Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards (AMVCA).

Her self-funded travel show which she hosts; "Keep It Moving" was not nominated to the surprise of her fans.

Taking to the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Oprah talked about how hard she worked to create the show without sponsorships.

Despite the disappointment of not receiving the AMVCA nomination, she vowed to keep showing up in the face of rejection.

She wrote: "Took me a lot to put “Keep It Moving” travel show together with self funding and no sponsorship … I submitted my project for #AMVCA10 and didn’t get a nomination… this is ME making a promise to myself to “Keep Showing Up” despite how many times I get turned down… I hope this gives someone the strength to also do same."
