Veteran actress, Kate Henshaw has expressed her displeasure towards the selection of Senator Elisha Abbo as patron of the Actors Guild of Nigeria.
Taking her displeasure to her Twitter page, she called upon the Actor's Guild President, Emeka Rollas to rescind his decision to make the Senator patron.
Henshaw refused to be cowered as he called out the Senator on the microblogging platform, passing a vote of no-confidence on his selection.
"Emeka Rollas, I cannot find your handle on Twitter, my name is Kate Henshaw and I do not mince words when I say Abbo Elisha is NOT worthy to be a patron of the Actors Guild of Nigeria. We have women in this guild and we do not want to be slapped!!" she said.
Nigerians were shocked by the selection.

We complain about the leaders in our country but even some citizens are sick in the head.

People like Harvey Weinstein, Bill Cosby would have got away with anything in Nigeria all because they have money.
In a civilized society, Elisha Abbo would be in prison right now.
This is yet another slap on the faces of well meaning Nigerians. Worse still, the slapping Senator? What an insult????

How could they think of that even?

• Visited a sex shop as a serving senator, beat a woman there
• Supported "HATE SPEECH" Bill
• Supported Anti-Social media Bill
...became AGN Patron???????
Posterity said NO!
Elisha Abbo is the patron of the Actors Guild of Nigeria?? How did that happen? How’s that possible? How did a violent & cantankerous fellow get into that position? What you allow is what will continue. Rewarding & acknowledging rubbish has always been a problem with Nigerians ????
