Nollywood star, Kate Henshaw has helped a Non-Governmental Organisation - NG known as Project Alert on Violence Against Women to raise the sum of one million and fifty-five thousand naira (1,055,000) in 48 hours.
The fund, according to the NGO, is meant to help a total of 72 Nigerian women feed their children during this lockdown.
Recall that MyNigeria.com informed you that the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (Retd.) announced a two-week extension to the COVID-19 lockdown on Monday, to help curb the spread of the virus.
Nigeria has since recorded a total of 407 cases and 12 deaths as of today, day 17 of the four-weeks lockdown.
