Justice hasn't been served, you're dropping account to collect money - Femi Branch slams Mohbad's dad and wife

Nigerian actor Femi Branch has raised concerns over the actions of some philanthropist who gave Mohbad's father and wife money shortly after the singer's death was announced.

In a video shared on his Instagram page, Branch noted that those involved in such act are using the late singer's death to catch cruise which is wrong.

Expressing his displeasure at Mohbad's wife and father's decision to collect money from people, he said that they are aware the singer's body in still in the mortuary.

Femi Branch who seem upset at the fact that justice is yet to be served and the perpetrators arrested and charged, noted that people should desist from spreading false rumours that those responsible have been apprehended.

Recall that singer, Mohbad on Tuesday, September 26, died under mysterious circumstances and was buried in Ikorodu, an area in Lagos state the next day.

However, the news surrounding the death of the singer raised concerns as many
accused Naira Marley, who was Mohbad's former record label boss and his friend, Sam Larry of harassing the singer which may have led to the singer's death.

After several calls to the police to investigate the death of the singer, the Lagos state police exhumed Mohbad's corpse was for autopsy and began their investigations.

Days later, the police held a press conference, where they announced that an injection was administered by a nurse and it was likely what led to the singer's death. It was also revealed that one of Mobad's friends was implicated for bringing the nurse as Mohbad's personal nurse was unavailable.

As many await the results of the autopsy conducted on Mohbad's corspe, Femi Branch has called on Nigerians and well wishers not to relent in their pursuit for justice for Mohbad.

He said;

"As a woman, they killed your husband, and as a father, they killed your child and what both of you could do was to drop account number for people to donate money. You don't even know the cause of the poor boy's death.

"Were you suffering before he died? Mohbad is lying cold in the mortuary and his father is barbing hair...no one is bothered about him getting justice. Nigerians stop sending money to these people. Everyone is seeing his spirit wandering and crying for justice yet his wife and father are busy collecting money. We are not even near getting justice for him. What kind of nonsense is this?"
