Veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko wrote a heartfelt letter to the public after celebrating his birthday.

The seasoned actor posted pictures of himself along with a thank-you note to commemorate turning 71 two days ago.

Temi Kosoko, Bidemi Kosoko, and Shola Kosoko, his children, also celebrated their father on social media. As they wrote homages to the veteran, his coworkers also made sure to applaud him.

Following this, Jide Kosoko expressed his gratitude for them on his Instagram page, saying that he prays for them to be honored as well and that he doesn't take their affection for granted.

He wrote, “My people, my people, I thank everyone deeply for the love you showed me yesterday, I do not take it for granted at all. As you have celebrated me this much, may you all always be celebrated. Thank you so much once again”.
