Popular TikToker Amadou Elizabeth, better known as Jadrolita or Jarvis, has threatened to take legal action against fellow streamer Hamzat Habeeb, also known as Peller, over alleged defamatory statements linking her to money laundering.
The controversy erupted after Peller, in a viral video, claimed that some TikTok influencers were using the platform’s gifting feature to launder money.
His remarks quickly gained traction online, especially as he appeared to suggest that Jarvis was part of the alleged scheme.
In a swift response, Aiso Entertainment, Jarvis’ management company, issued an official statement debunking the allegations. The management described Peller’s claims as false, malicious, and damaging to Jarvis’ reputation and career.
According to Aiso Entertainment, Peller’s remarks were capable of misleading the public and jeopardizing Jarvis’ partnerships with brands and collaborators.
The management has now demanded a public retraction and apology within 48 hours, warning that failure to comply would result in a lawsuit.
“Failure to comply within 48 hours will compel us to pursue all available legal remedies to vindicate Jadrolita’s rights and hold accountable those responsible for this reputational sabotage,” the statement read in part.
The ongoing drama has since dominated social media discussions, with many users calling on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to step in, while others believe the feud between the two TikTok stars will likely play out in court.
