Iyabo Ojo counter sues Naira Marley; demands a whooping 1 billion naira

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has responded to Naira Marley's lawsuit of 500 million naira with a recent Instagram post, announcing her plan to countersue him for an astounding 1 billion naira.

The actress conveyed her disgust at Naira Marley's peculiar strategy, revealing that he announced the lawsuit online rather than directly contacting her and her representatives, a decision she believes to be illegal.

Iyabo Ojo discussed the anomaly of the situation, pointing out that the letter with her name and address ended up in the public domain prior to it being delivered to her, while presenting documents from her legal team.

The documents, which were signed by a senior official and had the Nigerian Bar Association's official seal, have Ojo's legal team perplexed and puzzled as to why the press release was sent out so soon.

The deliberate attempt to damage Iyabo Ojo's reputation by leaking the legal notice to the media before giving it to her is the fundamental point of contention in her case.
