Actor and filmmaker Lateef Adedimeji has spoken about his pregnancy journey with wife and colleague, Mo Bimpe, describing it as a period of expectation, shock, and gratitude.
Speaking in an interview with Your View former host, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, Adedimeji said he pampered his wife throughout the pregnancy because they had been waiting for children for years.
He described Bimpe as a strong woman.
“When you’ve been up and expecting, and then it now finally happened, you will pamper her, but she’s a strong woman”, he said.
The actor also revealed that discovering they were expecting triplets came as a shock, but also with mixed emotions.
“It was shocking for me; at the same time, it was a mixed feeling. When you’ve been expecting something, and then it came beyond your expectations, that means the waiting is not a bad one,” he said.
Adedimeji also addressed claims about his involvement during delivery, stating that he was present throughout the process.
“I cannot stay back; we did it together. We are in it together; I was right there, and I saw it happen. It wasn’t an easy task. I give it up to women. Well done,” he said.
On plans for more children, the actor said the decision rests with God, but noted that Bimpe hopes to have a girl.
“Everything is in God’s hands because they are boys. I know my wife will love to have a female so we can do one more round, maybe,” he added.
The couple announced the birth of their triplet boys in May 2026.
In a video shared at the time, Adedimeji was seen with Bimpe holding their ultrasound scan as he thanked God for blessing him with “more than I prayed for.”
