'It was in the same month my son passed' - Davido breaks silence on the birth of twins

Popular Afrobeat singer, David Adeleke, popularly known us Davido, has said he was shocked after he and his wife, Chioma found out they'll be welcoming twins.

The celebrity couple were captured for the first with their newborn babies in a viral video on Friday, October 13.

Speaking at the United Masters Select Con event Sunday, Davido noted said that God bless him with twins in the same month he lost his son, Ifeanyi.

Ifeanyi drowned in a pool in Davido's residence in Lagos in October 2022.

“When my wife and I found out, we were shaking, and it was in the same month my son passed. My son passed away last year in October, and my wife gave birth this year in October.

“I was at the point of giving up. A beautiful boy and girl came back in double. I kept the faith despite it being very hard,” he noted.
