Nigerian artist Folarin Falana, widely known as Falz, recently addressed a fan’s suggestion that he should tie the knot.

According to Naija News, the fan sent the advice via a message, which Falz later shared on his Instagram story on Sunday.

Falz clarified that he took no offense to the recommendation. He noted that marriage holds great value in Nigeria and recognized that, as a public figure, elements of his personal life often attract public interest.

In a lighthearted tone, he also joked about the idea of trying out marriage just to see how it would feel.

He said: “It’s not your fault, I am the one who chose to be an entertainer, that means my life is your entertainment. I should just do a quick matrimonial experiment, let’s just see. I appreciate your suggestion.”

In other news… A Nigerian man has sparked reactions online after revealing that he was posted to serve in a royal palace during his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.

The corps member, identified by his TikTok handle @thatstreck, disclosed that he studied criminology but was assigned to a palace instead of a conventional workplace such as a company or organisation.

In a now-viral video, he expressed surprise at his unusual posting, stating, “NYSC posted me to a palace. Na my own dey always different.”

According to him, he was deployed to the Olota Palace, with the video showing members of the king’s staff in the background.

His post quickly gained traction, drawing mixed reactions from social media users, many of whom found the situation amusing while others shared similar experiences.
