'It’s spiritual' – Uche Maduagwu claims Mr Ibu's colleagues are responsible for his health issues

Veteran actor Mr. Ibu has been encouraged to adopt a more spiritual stance towards his present battle with an unusual illness that could result in the loss of his legs, following his call for prayers a few hours earlier.

Shortly after a video of his 63rd birthday celebration in an undisclosed Lagos hospital became popular on social media, the actor made a panic call.

Recognizing that he is walking on thin ice, Mr. Ibu who is not disclosing the specifics of his illness implied that the medical director's suggested drug is his last hope to preserve his leg.

Uche Maduagwu responded by adamantly stating on social media that Mr. Ibu's health issues are spiritual in nature.

The actor said that he stepped straight into a juju trap that some of his Nollywood colleagues had put at his feet, notwithstanding Mr. Ibu's good intentions.

Maduagwu went on to disclose that his associates had pursued various herbalist routes, all with the malevolent intention of plunging him into the depths of sickness.

Tagging Mr Ibu in his caption, he wrote: “What you going through is Spiritual, Dear Mr IBU, Because of your Kindness, your Colleagues in Nollywood Don put JUJU for ground for you to Walk on, this is spiritual Sir.

“They have gone to Different Babalawo on your matter, you showed Them Kindness in their time of need, but look at How they reward you?”
